Vcitoria Azarenka booked her place in the semi finals of the French Open for the first time beating Maria Kirilenko 7-6,6-2. She will face reigning champion Maria Sharapova, who edged into the French Open semi-finals with a battling victory over Jelena Jankovic. The Russian second seed fought back from a first-set whitewash to claim a 0-6 6-4 6-3 success at Roland Garros.
